Karen Rippstein holds a BS degree in Writing as Therapy. In training for certification as a poetry therapist with the National Association of Poetry Therapy (NAPT) , she has published her writing in Personal Journaling Magazine and she received an honorable mention in the Letters From the Heart Project on the web. Her letter to her mother is forthcoming in a book from that project.
