Nancy Smiler Levinson wrote for newspapers and magazines and was an editor at at a NYC publishing house, but believes writing for young readers is the most joyful and challenging work of all. She enjoys drawing young readers into caring about her characters and connecting with what they experience and feel. And she enjoys researching historical events and biographies.
