About Cheryl Merrill

Cheryll Merrill's work appears in Fourth Genre,  Alaska Quarterly Review, and Adventum, among other publications.  “Singing Like Yma Sumac” was a 2005 Best of Brevity and appeared in Short Takes: Model Essays for Composition, 10th< Edition.  “Trunk,” received a 2008 Pushcart Special Mention.  She is at work on Larger than Life: Living in the Shadows of Elephants.
