About Doris Leadbetter

The late Doris Leadbetter's poetry is widely published in Australia. She taught at tertiary institutions in Melbourne and offered writing workshops on many topics all over Victoria. As a contest judge, she noticed a lift in the standard of submissions, attributing this to the work of people like herself who offered advice, mentorship and workshops to emerging writers.
