Stephanie Tivona Reith is an ordained rabbinic chaplain and currently works as an interfaith chaplain and bereavement support coordinator for Hospice of Jefferson Healthcare. She is also a pastoral counselor and spiritual director. Her chaplaincy training included 1600 hours as a chaplain intern at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, where she rotated assignments to the oncology, open-heart, and in-patient psychiatric units, as well as the emergency department and intensive care unit, providing interfaith pastoral support to patients, family members, and staff.
Stephanie Tivona is also a published writer and skilled teacher. Chaplaincy is her “encore” career, after 25 years in the environmental communication field, including serving as executive director of Jefferson Land Trust from 2004-2006.
