About Stephanie Tivona Reith

Stephanie Tivona Reith is an ordained rabbinic chaplain and currently works as an interfaith chaplain and bereavement support coordinator for Hospice of Jefferson Healthcare. She is also a pastoral counselor and spiritual director. Her chaplaincy training included 1600 hours as a chaplain intern at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, where she rotated assignments to the oncology, open-heart, and in-patient psychiatric units, as well as the emergency department and intensive care unit, providing interfaith pastoral support to patients, family members, and staff. Stephanie Tivona is also a published writer and skilled teacher. Chaplaincy is her “encore” career, after 25 years in the environmental communication field, including serving as executive director of Jefferson Land Trust from 2004-2006.
