About Michael Karpa

Michael Karpa is also the author of the novel Criminals, a Kirkus Reviews Best Book of 2022 (Indie) inspired by his years as a young adult in Japan, and the gay romance sci-fi novel Red Dot. A sequel, Green Dot, is in the works. His short fiction and memoir have been published in Tin House, Foglifter, and Oyster River Pages, among other magazines.
