  2. The title of the book, Unbridled, is both descriptive of the book, I suspect, and intriguing about how many ways we can find ourselves unbridled. I find the title tempting to read, which is the smart part of marketing a book.

The flow and pacing of this scene makes for an easy read. The sensory details makes for a full-bodied read. And the insight from helping others less fortunate makes for a spiritually rich read.

I look forward to the book.

  3. This was an excellent read. Seems like there is a little of Sheila influence with use of the five senses (compliment)throughout your memoir. Like painting a picture: You don’t use one color. There’s variety, contrast and surprises in your scenes. I will suggest that my class read it. Thanks for being so candid and open with your life.

  4. Let us know what you think! I chose this excerpt because I felt Barbara’s connection to the girls at the orphanage was strong and important and her action taking them horse back riding was unusual and spirited–just like she wanted her life to become.
