Cecile Lusby says her mature life began with divorce, single motherhood and finishing her education in midlife. She earned credentials as an English teacher and a school counselor and worked with teenage foster youth in San Mateo County. She volunteers for the Interchurch Pantry of Sebastopol and contributes to the Sonoma County Gazette and the Independent Coast Review.
